The Workspace will preserve Invest4Nature’s legacy by keeping its results accessible beyond the project’s lifetime.
Invest4Nature is a time-bound project, but the need for trusted knowledge on Nature-based Solutions will continue beyond its lifetime. The evidence, tools and practical insights developed throughout the project should therefore remain accessible, usable and easy to build upon.
That is why we created the Invest4Nature Workspace. Hosted on Oppla, the Workspace provides a lasting home for the project’s knowledge and connects it with the wider European Nature-based Solutions community.
The Workspace was developed in two phases. The first version supported stakeholder events, showcased the Living Labs and preserved project results. A revised version launched on Oppla in June 2025 introduced a clearer interface, easier registration, improved search and categorisation, greater accessibility, stronger security and better performance.
The Invest4Nature Workspace is a central knowledge platform for the economics and financing of Nature-based Solutions. It brings together project results, decision-support tools, reports, articles, Living Lab case studies and practical knowledge in one accessible place.
Dedicated sections present the Invest4Nature Living Labs through case studies, blogs, videos and event outcomes. A central repository provides access to the project’s outputs and other relevant resources. Users and related projects can also join the Workspace and contribute their own content, events and case studies, supporting continued knowledge exchange beyond the Invest4Nature community.
The Workspace is designed for practitioners, policymakers, businesses, researchers, related projects and other stakeholders interested in the economics and financing of Nature-based Solutions.
Users can explore evidence, access practical experiences, exchange knowledge and contribute their own resources. By bringing together different perspectives and types of knowledge, the Workspace supports informed decision-making, continued collaboration and the further development of investment in Nature-based Solutions.
The Workspace serves as Invest4Nature’s central legacy platform, preserving the project’s results and making them accessible beyond the project’s lifetime.
It will remain hosted on Oppla as part of the EU Repository of Nature-based Solutions, including the necessary technical maintenance. Its integration into Oppla also creates opportunities to connect Invest4Nature’s knowledge with other European projects, platforms and expert communities. In this way, the Workspace can continue to grow as a shared knowledge hub for the economics and financing of Nature-based Solutions, providing a lasting basis for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
